Ethical Issues

Identify any ethical issues raised by your software. For example:

Are users' privacy expectations met by your software?

• The only sensitive data that will be stored is email, password, and birthday. We will use a hash for the passwords in the database to ensure security.

Could the use of your software result in racial, gender, religious, or any other type of discrimination? How does your software try to mitigate this problem?

• I don't think that the app we are building could be used in any sort of discrimination because there is no user to user interaction.

Can your software be abused by some users to cause harm to other users? or to the public at large? How do you mitigate it?

• Again, there is no user to user interaction so I don't think someone would be able to cause much harm by misusing our app.
