ReleaseSeal 1.1.1 (27)

ReleaseSeal 1.1.1 adds ISO inspection, controlled post-scan mounting, mounted-image recovery, license-gated disk-image handling, additional PKG signature evidence, and an expanded evidence database. It also corrects the installation DMG layout so hidden metadata does not displace the visible icons.

ReleaseSeal performs scans locally and does not execute inspected software. A recognized identity or exact-artifact match is evidence about the inspected bytes and signature state, not a malware-free guarantee.

Changes

  • Added ISO targets, nested ISO inspection, exact ISO artifact hashes, CLI support, and drag-and-drop support.
  • Added post-scan mount actions for eligible DMG and ISO results. Quarantine removal remains explicit, and invalid, compromised, or incomplete scans never receive a mount action.
  • Added exact-source mounted-image detection, dependency-aware handling for nested or duplicate attachments, and non-forced eject-and-rescan workflows.
  • Added explicit handling for disk images that require a license response before read-only inspection.
  • Added an additional codesign evidence layer for PKG files while retaining standard package-signature inspection.
  • Added mounting preferences that can skip selected confirmation prompts without disabling safety blocks.
  • Added bounded resource handling, process cancellation improvements, and structured post-scan policy conditions.
  • Expanded the reviewed evidence database to 49 certificate records, one tracked-file policy, one exact verified artifact, and 102 compromised hashes.
  • Added five compromised artifact hashes: four DMG records and one PKG record.
  • Corrected the installation DMG layout so Finder keeps metadata icons outside the visible canvas even when hidden files are shown.
  • Updated the interface, in-window tooltips, Deep Scan wave artwork, help content, and public website screenshots.
