What changed

  • replace stale headline evidence with a full 2026-07 simplewiki v0.4 release-line run
  • publish residual-clean, diagnostic-tier, wall-time, and RSS numbers with overlap semantics
  • distinguish the earlier pre-v0.4 enwiki scale run from the current release gate
  • validate a real pages-meta-history dump fails fast with an actionable error
  • add native Linux aarch64 release assets and document unsigned macOS archives
  • make the 0.5 roadmap request concrete with --stats and diagnostic-tally commands

Evidence

  • simplewiki: 282,900 pages, 98.1% clean, 7.65 s, 206 MiB RSS, exit 0
  • diagnostics: 3,740 zero-diag / 277,070 warned / 73,873 unsupported (overlapping tiers)
  • pagwiki history dump: exit 1 with explicit pages-meta-history guidance
  • actionlint
  • Rust 1.97 fmt, Clippy, and full all-features tests
  • criterion: AST 130.8 MiB/s, within noise with no hot-path changes

Change: refresh v0.4 full-dump evidence on 2026-07 simplewiki, document the real history-dump boundary, and add native Linux aarch64 releases.

Tests: actionlint, Rust 1.97 fmt/clippy/all-features tests, full simplewiki stats, and a real pagwiki history-dump rejection all pass.

Benchmark: simplewiki 282,900 pages in 7.65 s at 206 MiB RSS; AST 130.8 MiB/s, strip 114.8 MiB/s, reference 298.5 MiB/s.

Regression: none; criterion AST -1.5% is inside the documented noise band with no hot-path change.
