v26.10.57
Fixed
- Energy on Home (#44): The house consumption is never a peak, average or period value (e.g. "grid import peak today", "base load", "surplus last hour" of a PV statistics integration), nor a PV inverter's output: SMA names its current generation "Grid power", Casora now treats it as solar. An electricity meter whose entity ID has no umlaut (
stromzahler) is recognised. A house sensor Casora picked itself that no longer qualifies is picked again when the Studio opens. Clearing the house sensor in the Studio now shows the sum of the rooms instead of hiding the badge. - Energy popup “Where the power comes from”: SMA “Grid power” counts as solar, the SMA energy meter as grid, an electricity meter (
stromzahler) as grid. - Doorbell: talking (#23): The talk connection's sound is only used while sound really arrives there; otherwise you keep hearing the player (26.10.56 went silent when the talk connection carried no sound). The browser console shows lines starting with
casora klingelfor diagnosis.
v26.10.56
Fixed
- Doorbell: talking (#23, preliminary fix): While you listen and talk at the same time, you now hear the doorbell through the talk connection itself, so the sound no longer drops when talking starts. After “End” the player comes back with sound. The microphone no longer adjusts its level automatically, which made the volume jump mid-sentence.
- Helper scripts not created: Casora no longer relies on reading the
script: !include scripts.yamlline in configuration.yaml. It writes its four scripts, reloads scripts and checks whether Home Assistant created them; only if not, and the line really is missing, it puts scripts.yaml back as it was. Keys already in scripts.yaml are not written twice.
v26.10.55
Fixed
- Energy on Home (#44): Home no longer shows a single device's or room's "total" power sensor as the house consumption. A meter clamp counts as the house sensor even on a single phase (nothing to switch on the device, plus returned energy, voltage with power factor or a meter model), and never as a room's power or a summand. Without a real house sensor (house consumption, grid or meter) Home shows the sum of the rooms, the same values as the room badges, and follows the rooms when they change. A sensor you picked yourself is never replaced. Existing dashboards: open the Studio once and save to correct a wrong pick. The automatic list in the popup is now called “Top 5 consumers”.
- Security on Home (#39): Next to cameras, locks or an alarm in the badge, the sub-row now also shows “Doors” and “Windows” with the house's doors and windows; a tap opens the list. Only the kind the badge lists itself is left out, smoke or leak sensors in the badge no longer hide them, and new contacts show up without reloading.
- Dishwasher with Home Connect from Home Assistant (#48): Time remaining is calculated from the finish time (was “33:46 h left”). Active and selected program, door, progress and cancel are found automatically; in the Studio the program (select) and door (sensor) can be picked by hand. Program names are readable.
- AI via OpenRouter or Ollama: AI tasks of these integrations are recognised (model stored differently, vendor in front), so AI features and AI tile types work with them.
- Setup notice for helper scripts: The notice disappears once all helpers and scripts exist and only mentions the
script: !include scripts.yamlline when it is really missing.
v26.10.54
Fixed
- Player in the Studio preview: In Casora, Casora Glas and Casora Nebel the preview showed the old player at the wave again whenever nothing was playing on the dashboard, a player had been paused for a while or the dashboard scripts were still loading. It now always shows the dashboard's player. With nothing playing there, wave and player are gone in the preview as well, on the phone “Now Playing” too.
v26.10.53
Fixed
- Security on Home on tablet and desktop (#39): Without entries of its own, the security badge on Home counted the house's doors and windows only on the phone, on tablet and desktop it was missing. It now shows on every device. Without entries of its own, a tap opens the list of all doors and windows instead of unfolding an empty row or, on the phone, filtering to nothing. The Studio shows in the badge how many doors and windows were found automatically.
- Back to the light list after “More settings” (#43): Opening a light from the lighting list, then “More settings” and going back again, the light lost its arrow back to the list. It now stays.
v26.10.52
New
- Pflanzenmonitor Plus: Casora recognises the plants of Pflanzenmonitor Plus like those of Plant Monitor. The plant tile, the plant popup with readings and limits, the plant doctor, hints in the bell, tile suggestions and the import in the Studio work with both. Ventilation and room climate leave the plant sensors out. With Plant Monitor everything stays as it was.
Fixed
- Studio: badges in the phone preview too tall, people badge lower than the others (#41): In the Casora look the phone preview drew the badges taller than on the phone, and a person's picture was smaller than the colour circles next to it. All badges now have the phone's sizes, and a person's picture is as large as a colour circle, in the desktop preview too.
v26.10.51
Fixed
- Phone: the people badge on Home set the filter instead of opening the popup (#40): With "Separate people badges" or only one person selected, the badge on the phone showed the name, but a tap switched to the "People" view. The phone now gives every person a badge of their own, as the desktop does, and a tap opens their popup. With two or more people and the switch off, the group badge with the filter stays.
- Studio: people badge missing from the phone preview (#41): With "Separate people badges" or only one person, the badge at the top of Home was missing in the phone preview. It now shows there as on the phone. Climate with separate readings also shows as one badge in the phone preview, as on the phone.
v26.10.50
Fixed
- Cover: arrow without function in the detail view (#35): Tapping a single cover in the covers popup showed that same cover again on the right with a "›", and tapping it only reopened the same popup. The detail view now shows position and presets without that row; with a shading automation set up, the automation sits on the right. This also applies to tiles with a single cover.
- Lights: first light and lights with a room tile did not open their detail view (#37): Without a light group in Home Assistant, the first light in the list reopened the same popup, and a light from a room with several lights opened that room's list instead of its detail view. Every light now opens its own detail view. The same applies to cover and lock groups.
- Lights: a light without a tile of its own opened its badge's room popup (#37): It now opens its detail view. In the popup of a single light, its own row no longer reopens the same popup.
- Lock group: a lock row reopened the group: Every row now opens its lock.
- Light group with its own tap action opened the device page: If a tile has a tap action of its own (e.g. "more info"), its row in a list still opens the light popup instead of the device page without controls.
- Calendar tile showed hidden calendars (#38): Without calendars chosen in the Studio, calendars hidden in Home Assistant stay out – as in Home Assistant's own calendar.
- Security: a window or door opened all doors and windows (#39): A single window or door opens its own page, also from the bell. A badge for a room's doors or windows shows only those, across the full width and titled "Windows" or "Doors".
- Security on Home without doors and windows (#39): The badge on Home now counts every door and window in the house.
- Weather warning always red in the bell: The bell shows warnings in the tile's colour per level (yellow, orange, red, purple). The tile now also recognises an extreme warning as such.
- Studio: carousel page lost its tile type and popup: A page for a device that already has a tile in the room takes over that tile (e.g. underfloor heating with its temperature history).
v26.10.49
Fixed
- Warnings popup looked like a popup inside a popup: The warning sat as a narrow card in the middle of the wide popup, with a lot of empty space around it. It now uses the full width, and on large screens several warnings sit side by side instead of stacked.
v26.10.48
Fixed
- Thermostat tile said "On" between two numbers: At the target the tile read "22.2° · On · 22°", and nobody could tell which number was which. It now reads "22.2° · Target 22°", and while heating "22.2° · Heating to 22°". On narrow tiles such as the phone it shortens to "22.2° · Heating" instead of "22.2° +1", so the word stays visible. With a target range it heats to the lower and cools to the upper bound. Both popups now use the same words, and the tile popup no longer shows the raw mode ("cool") for cooling, auto, dry or fan only.
- Robot vacuum: tank and station warnings for Dreame (#33): Low or missing clean water, a full or missing dirty water tank, a missing dust bag and low detergent now show in the popup, as they do for Roborock.
- Robot vacuum: more maintenance items for Dreame (#33): Wheels, water outlet filter and the onboard dirty water tank, each with its reset button. Parts the robot counts in days show "3 days left" instead of hours.
- Robot vacuum: hint under the error (#33): Under the reason the popup also shows the integration's hint, for example Dreame's "The robot may be trapped or stuck".
- Robot vacuum status words: Room and zone cleaning, edge cleaning, mapping and remote control now have their own labels for Dreame, and a vacuum returning to its dock reads "Returning" instead of the raw word.
