Added

  • Scripts — open, edit, create and save Home Assistant scripts, not just automations. The start screen has an Automations | Scripts switch; script cards show whether a script is running and have a Run button. A script starts at a script start node that holds its input fields (variable, label, description, required, input type via Home Assistant's own selector picker, default value). Run asks for the fields with Home Assistant's own inputs, prefilled with the defaults. The YAML tab shows the script config HA stores. Scripts offer no trigger block; a deleted script start can be added back from the block library or the empty canvas. Upstream C.A.F.E. #100.
  • Tabs — several automations and scripts open at once. Opening one that's already open switches to its tab; each tab keeps its own undo history and view; unsaved changes show as a dot and are asked about when closing. Open tabs (including unsaved drafts) are restored after a reload, and FLODE comes back where you left it — in the editor with the last tab, or on the start screen. Upstream C.A.F.E. #61. The Open automation dialog opens in tabs too; Merge (formerly Open several) combines several automations into one new flow in its own tab, and its checkboxes are visible again.
  • Create scripts with AI — Create with AI now builds scripts too: pick Automation or Script in the dialog (preselected by where you are). For scripts the AI declares input fields for values you'd choose at start (e.g. brightness, minutes) and uses them in the steps; the draft goes through the same checks and correction round as automations.
  • Run from here — right-click a card (or ⌘K / Ctrl+K) → Run from here runs that step and everything after it for real in Home Assistant, after a confirmation that names the step, counts the steps and warns when they rely on trigger data. Upstream C.A.F.E. #25.

Fixed

  • Conditions with a duration ran immediately — in flows written as a state machine (several triggers leading to different steps), a condition like "switch on for 10 minutes" dropped the 10 minutes and passed the moment the switch turned on, so the automation always took the same branch. Home Assistant now checks it natively, duration included. Upstream C.A.F.E. #247.
  • Time conditions broke on reopening — in the same state-machine format a time condition (now().strftime('%H:%M:%S') >= '21:00') lost its connection to the next step when the automation was opened again ("has no outgoing edges"), and came back as a template condition. It now stays connected and opens as a time condition again. Upstream C.A.F.E. #256.
  • Native if/then/else conditions inside state-machine flows (used for templates with {% %} blocks) weren't read back when reopening.
  • Redo was greyed out right after undo — re-measuring the cards after an undo counted as a new edit and cleared the redo history.
