With this release, the TDC‑E platform makes a significant architectural step forward by transitioning from the legacy L4M (Linux‑for‑Microservices) environment to the modernized Base OS foundation.
This migration represents a major evolution of the system software stack, enabling improved performance, enhanced security, a streamlined update mechanism and a unified runtime environment for next‑generation applications.

The new BaseOS delivers a cleaner separation between the operating system and application layers, supports containerized workloads more efficiently, and provides consistent interfaces through Control Center services. This shift lays the groundwork for long‑term maintainability, easier feature expansion, and a more robust developer experience across the entire TDC product family.

v3.1.0 - Release Type: Initial Production Release
Device: TDC‑E220
Date: February 2026
