  • Add summary-stats CLI command: particle count, d50 and size distribution from a -STATS.nc file, with --json-output for machine-readable output. The summary is available as pyopia.statistics.summary_from_stats() (#427)
  • Add make-montage-scaled CLI command, wiring pyopia.statistics.make_montage_scaled into the CLI alongside make-montage (#407)
  • init-project --example-data --instrument holo now downloads real holograms and generates a matching config; fixes raw_files being hardcoded to *.silc and the instrument being forced back to silcam (#434)

Housekeeping

  • Move the holo test-data download off gdown/Google Drive onto the sample-data_v2.0.0 GitHub release, and remove the gdown dependency (#421)
  • Add process --progress-file for machine-readable progress polling; route stage messages through the logger; init-project now exits 1 on an existing folder; docstring fixes and Windows/PowerShell Docker guidance (#423)
  • Log download progress for example-data fetches (#426)
  • Bump actions/checkout and astral-sh/setup-uv to Node 24-native versions (#422)
  • Add AGENTS.md working practices and a docstring-conciseness convention; trim verbose docstrings to match (#438)
