Mod compatibility

  • Compatible with mods made for 4.1.X, except for certain cases (See below!)
  • Incompatible with ALL mods made for 4.0.X

Profile compatibility

  • Compatible with 4.0.X and above profiles

Changes

ADDED

  • Client - Plugin verification for mods compiled against older versions of SPT
  • Server, Client & Launcher - Moved bundle downloading & checking to the launcher when the SPT server is running remotely, this should speed up the process significantly
  • Launcher - New Bulgarian and German translations
  • Launcher - Various new additions to support the game better on Linux

MODIFIED

  • Server - Improved server memory usage now being around 20% lower when starting up, and up to 40% lower when the client is starting up
  • Server - The server should now load faster due to it both loading files as well as hashing them in one stream
  • Server - Bundle load times, the server should now check and load through mod bundles a lot faster
  • Server - Removed the health endpoint that docker uses from being logged
  • Client - Updated the assembly with the assembly tool to update some references of various attributes that were incorrect
  • Launcher - Stopped the launcher from crashing if the json file it used got corrupted, now reverts back to defaults
  • Launcher - Reworked Game launch code

FIXED

  • Server - Fixed paying with money stacks that the client requested (SP-Tushonka/server-csharp#2)
  • Server - Made backups culture invariant so the server should handle them better
  • Server - Fixed some MongoId operators
  • Server - Fixed an issue where logs from the client would throw due to an exception

Modding

  • A few changes, some more breaking than others but they can be found here
  • Client & Server - Added reverse patching
  • Server - Added optional callbacks for people applying configuration options in the SIC
