PCB Designer v3.0.1

This patch fixes the repository-root validation path discovered by the first
v3.0.0 CI run.

Fixed

  • The validator no longer requires the checkout folder name to equal the skill
    name. GitHub repositories, forks, and renamed install directories are valid.
  • CI can now validate the project from claude-pcb-designer as well as from an
    installed pcb-designer directory.

This release turns the skill from a documentation package into an executable
hardware-design workflow.

Highlights

  • 11 deterministic calculators for trace width, via current, microstrip,
    stripline, differential microstrip, LDO thermal margin, battery life, buck
    inductors, RC filters, voltage dividers, and CSV power budgets.
  • Fabrication release auditor for Gerber/drill presence, BOM/CPL schema,
    designator consistency, DNP handling, and common package failures.
  • Skill package validator plus CI on Windows, Linux, and macOS.
  • Progressive-disclosure references for intake, schematic review, stackup,
    release, bring-up, high reliability, and standards.
  • Templates for design briefs, review reports, fabrication checkout,
    supplier RFQs, power budgets, and bring-up logs.

Install

Use --target claude or --target agents for other runtimes.
