v0.1.11
SqliteMd v0.1.11 focuses the docs and landing experience on the simplest, most useful case: one Markdown file, one Markdown table, one SQLite virtual table.
What's in this release
- Refined README banner art to highlight the single-file
markdown_table(...)flow. - Mode-aware single-file tables via
markdown_table_mode(...)withread_onlyandappend_only. - Unified diagnostics for single-file and repo/glob scans.
- Bundled examples covering single-file, repo scan, and diagnostics scenarios.
Setup
- Platform: Windows x64
- Download
SqliteMd.dllfrom this release. - Start
sqlite3.exeor another SQLite host that supports loadable extensions. - Load the extension:

Basic usage
Attach a single Markdown file as a SQLite table:
CREATE VIRTUAL TABLE notes
USING markdown_table(
'notes.md',
'Notes',
'id INTEGER, title TEXT, stars INTEGER',
'id'
);
SELECT id, title, stars
FROM notes
ORDER BY id;If notes.md does not exist yet, first write can create it:
INSERT INTO notes(id, title, stars)
VALUES (1, 'Release notes', 4);Mode-aware single-file usage
Use markdown_table_mode(...) when you want explicit write behavior:
CREATE VIRTUAL TABLE notes_ro
USING markdown_table_mode(
'notes.md',
'Notes',
'id INTEGER, title TEXT, stars INTEGER',
'id',
'read_only'
);Supported write_mode values:
read_writeread_onlyappend_only
