Installation

OpSec Enhanced ships as separate builds per loader and Minecraft version. Pick the section for your loader.

Fabric

Supports MC 1.20 through 26.3.

  1. Install Fabric Loader for your Minecraft version (0.16.0+, or 0.18.5+ for MC 26.1.x)
  2. Download the matching Fabric API build for your Minecraft version
  3. Download the latest opsec-[minecraft_version]+[version].jar from Modrinth, CurseForge, or the Releases page
  4. Place both jars in your .minecraft/mods folder
  5. Launch Minecraft

Mod Menu is optional but recommended — it adds an in-game settings entry point alongside the built-in one described below.

NeoForge

Supports MC 1.21.1, 1.21.11, and 26.2 only — these are separate builds from the Fabric line, not the same jar. See Known Issues for the one feature gap on this loader.

  1. Install NeoForge for your Minecraft version
  2. Download the latest opsec-neoforge-[minecraft_version]+[version].jar from CurseForge or the Releases page
  3. Place it in your .minecraft/mods folder — no other dependency needed
  4. Launch Minecraft

Opening settings

Either loader: the settings menu is accessible via the OpSec button in the multiplayer server selection screen header, or via Mod Menu on Fabric.

If you change settings while connected to a server, reconnect to make sure the new settings take effect for that session.
