• Defaults now match the Claude Code terminal: medium effort, the full 200k context window with nothing cut early, and the connectors enabled on your claude.ai account loaded like the terminal does.
• Settings keeps the savings one switch away: Context window → Economy (compacts around 67k) and Lean requests (only connectors installed in the panel; measured −46% per request).

SYC-AI 0.5.7 — leaner Claude requests, context window setting

Required update, applied by every installation on its next check. Claude accounts get an in-place account update (Accounts page → Update · 0.5.7).

Claude account

• Much smaller requests. The panel now passes its own MCP configuration on every run, so the connectors enabled on your claude.ai account are no longer sent with every request (measured: 227 KB → 124 KB per request for an account with Gmail/Docs/PayPal connectors — about 46% less). Connectors you want inside the panel are installed from its Settings.
• Context window setting (Settings → Context window): Economy (default, compacts around 67k) or Like the terminal CLI (full 200k window, nothing cut early; measured ~1.6× per call on long threads).
• Cleaner settings copy; the internal "SYC EMPIRE" label is gone.

SYC-AI 0.5.6 — account updates, full-install fix

Required update, applied by every installation on its next check.

Fixed

• Full installs: the Codex account's data directories were not created, so its service refused to start. Every directory a panel's environment names is now created before the service is written.
• Installing a professional account no longer touches the panel shell's own update record.

New

• Professional accounts can be updated. Each account remembers the signed archive it was installed from; when a newer one is published, the accounts page shows Update · beside the open link and replaces the account in place (your data stays).
• The Main plan card in the account center states the launch offer's end date.
• Claude accounts start at low effort (the effort menu quotes the measured cost of each level); Codex accounts get a 4000-token tool-output budget, which measured cheaper than 1000 because the agent stopped re-running truncated commands.

SYC-AI 0.5.5 — lease renewal, complete

Required update, applied by every installation on its next check.

Fixed

• Lease renewal (introduced in 0.5.4) now actually reaches the control plane: the panel sends the CSRF double-submit header the control plane demands. Verified on two live installations — a panel that had been sitting in restricted mode came back to active on the first page view after updating.

SYC-AI 0.5.4 — lease renewal fix

Required update. Every installation applies it by itself on its next check.

Fixed

• Panels no longer lock themselves after six hours. The entitlement lease is now renewed with the owner's session an hour before it expires (and immediately if it already has), with a one-minute back-off when the control plane is unreachable. Existing installations pick this up automatically.
• The plan chooser shows the launch offer's end date and days left instead of a raw seconds counter.
