404Stream Installation Instructions

Backend Installation

1. Extract Files

• Extract 404stream.rar to your desired location (e.g., C:\404Stream\)
• You will find 2 files:
  • install.exe
  • 404Stream.exe

2. Run Installer

• Double-click install.exe
• Important: Run as administrator if prompted
• Wait for installation to complete

3. Launch Backend

• After installation finishes, double-click 404Stream.exe
• Keep the console window open while using the app
• Backend will run on http://127.0.0.1:8000

Chrome Extension Installation

1. Extract Files

• Extract 404Stream_extension.rar to a permanent location
• Remember the folder path (you'll need it for Chrome)

2. Enable Developer Mode

• Open Chrome and go to chrome://extensions/
• Toggle "Developer mode" ON (top-right switch)

3. Load Extension

• Click "Load unpacked" button
• Browse to your extracted extension folder
• Select the folder containing manifest.json
• Click "Select Folder"

4. Pin Extension

• Click the puzzle piece icon 🧩 in Chrome toolbar
• Find "404Stream" in the list
• Click the pin 📌 to add it to your toolbar

✅ Quick Test

1. Click the 404Stream extension icon
2. You should see the interface in a popup window
3. Backend console should show server running
4. You're ready to stream! 🎬
