Building from Source (Recommended)

GitFlare is built transparently from source. No pre-compiled code is embedded in this repository.

cd gitflare
python -m venv .venv
source .venv/bin/activate
pip install -e .

Or install directly from the sdist:

pip install https://github.com/TheCinderProject/gitflare/archive/refs/tags/v1.0.0.tar.gz

Pre-built Artifacts

These artifacts are provided for checksum verification only.
While functional, building from source is the recommended and preferred method.
This ensures full transparency — you can inspect every line of code before installation.
