SVG room icons get uploaded but don't render properly

Describe the bug

After saving the new svg icon, the client instead shows the first room name letter icon. For the record, I set Show Room Icons In Sidebars to 'Sometimes'. The svg was displayed tho in the top initial message of the room (see in pic bellow).
