orbit v0.1.0
A dashboard for the coding-agent sessions on your machine — Claude Code, Codex and GitHub Copilot CLI, across every project. It answers the question a wall of terminal tabs can't: which session is blocked on me right now?
Highlights
- Cross-agent session index. Each CLI's
--resumepicker only sees the current directory. orbit reads all three stores — Claude's JSONL transcripts, Codex's rollouts, Copilot's SQLite database — and shows them in one list. - State you can act on. Joining each agent's transcript with live tmux facts distinguishes "running a slow tool" from "parked on a permission prompt".
- tmux-backed sessions. A private
-L orbitserver with its own config, so closing a tab detaches rather than kills, and nothing collides with a normal tmux. - Full-text search across transcript bodies, since titles are too terse to answer "which session was it where I fixed the VPN proxy?"
- Incremental summaries. Two or three sentences per session, generated through each provider's own CLI so the work bills to that agent's existing subscription — no API keys. Continuing a session updates its summary from the new messages instead of re-reading the transcript.
- Token accounting from each store's own records, sortable.
- Real brand logos via the Kitty graphics protocol, opt-in with
ORBIT_ICONS=logo.
