Display password (with 'eye icon')

Our exam support team repeatedly receives feedback that students are not entering their passwords correctly when registering for SEB exams, especially if the password is somewhat complicated.
Question: Would it be possible to implement a feature that allows the password to be displayed? (On various platforms, this is possible by clicking on the ‘eye icon’...)

For Windows, this issue has been reported already (see SafeExamBrowser/seb-win-refactoring#843) and it is in our backlog - the issue needs now be prioritized internally, with a bit of luck we will finally be able to implement it for the after next release version for Windows (3.12.0).
