Welcome to the very first official release of DiscoverTube DJ!

DiscoverTube DJ is a standalone desktop application that bridges the gap between classic hardware DJ controllers and modern internet music streaming. Built specifically with the ION Discover DJ MIDI controller in mind, this application allows you to search, download, and mix tracks seamlessly.

• YouTube Integration: Search for any track on YouTube directly from within the application and instantly download it to your local library in high-quality WebM (Opus) audio format.
• Hardware Controller Support: Native MIDI support out of the box for the ION Discover DJ controller. Scratch, crossfade, and mix effortlessly using your physical hardware!
• Interactive UI: A beautiful dual-deck interface featuring interactive, scratchable vinyl jog wheels and smooth transitions.
• Persistent Local Library: Your downloaded songs are saved safely to your computer's local AppData directory so they are always ready to mix the moment you launch the app—no internet connection required for previously downloaded tracks.

📦 Installation (Windows)

1. Download the DiscoverTube DJ Setup 1.0.0.exe file attached in the assets below.
2. Run the installer.
3. Plug in your ION Discover DJ controller.
4. Launch the application and start mixing!
