PF2E Remaster 0.9.02

Choose a tag to compare

@Saharory Saharory released this 09 Oct 21:00

This release improves the native creature, item, spell, character, and deity editors and repairs imported mechanics and reference links.

  • Clearer editor sections, labels, hints, and reference controls.
  • Built-in immunity choices with automatic links, custom immunity references, and automatic sense-acuity links.
  • Improved item activations, crafting requirements, and variant display.
  • Spell metadata cleanup, area templates, and token-effect duration controls.
  • Restored confirmed deity omissions, Any divine attributes and restriction notes, editable sanctification text, and corrected deity links.
  • Character tabs and consistent save/reopen behavior across the verified editor flows.

Validation: all available native verification checks passed on Mac. Source checks passed for 83 definitions and nine validators. The single installer includes 18,041 records with preserved ORC/OGL notices and attribution.

Older custom-spell and saved-character compatibility lacks native test fixtures. The app-owned small-edit saving bug is outside this system release; Essence Dancers and Rokoga Gin source differences remain documented for further review.

Install pf2e-remaster.system in Encounter+. The package version is 0.9.02.

The 0.9.02 spell-duration migration preserves printed duration text and existing explicit token settings; it is covered by source regression tests.

@Saharory Saharory released this 24 Sep 02:42

Highlights

  • Ships the complete system and reviewed public compendium in one pf2e-remaster.system installer: 17,992 content records plus the Encounter XP Planner, across 22 reviewed ORC source packs and the separately marked Rage of Elements OGL dataset.
  • Adds 24 native, sourced PF2E reference tables with book/page citations and links back to their complete rule entries.
  • Rebuilds all 63 hazards and 84 vehicles as complete, book-style Encounter+ statblocks with editable mechanics.
  • Adds compact, narrow-panel table selectors to the bookmarkable PF2E Operations Center.

Added

Native PF2E reference tables

  • DCs by Level, Spell Rank DCs, Simple DCs, and DC Adjustments.
  • Creature-building benchmarks for attributes, perception, skills, AC, saves, HP, resistances and weaknesses, Strike bonuses and damage, spell DCs and attacks, and area damage.
  • Encounter XP Budget, Creature XP and Role, and Party Treasure by Level.
  • Environmental Damage and Environmental Features.
  • Material Hardness, HP, and BT.
  • Cover, Counteract Results by Rank, and Detection and Targeting.
  • A dedicated Tables collection label in the Library instead of the generic entity label.

Operations Center

  • Compact selectors for DCs at a Glance, Creature-Building Benchmarks, and Treasure & Rewards.
  • Level and statistic selectors are designed for the Operations Center’s narrow bookmark panel rather than displaying oversized tables.
  • Every compact result remains linked to the corresponding native table and complete rule entry.

Hazards and vehicles

  • New HTML statblock templates that follow the source-book presentation while retaining Encounter+ light and dark themes.
  • Hazard sheets now expose descriptions, complexity, Stealth DC and proficiency, disable methods, defenses, attacks, abilities, triggers, effects, routines, resets, and degree-of-success results when present.
  • Vehicle sheets now expose price, description, dimensions, crew, passengers, piloting checks, defenses, Hardness, HP, BT, immunities, weaknesses, resistances, speeds, collision damage, and special actions.
  • Newly exposed mechanics are available in the hazard and vehicle edit forms.
  • Condition and rule references inside hazard and vehicle abilities are clickable.
  • Source book and page information is retained wherever available.

Fixed

  • Repaired malformed imported damage, healing, area-template, and dynamic-formula markup across the public compendium.
  • Restored missing area shapes, distances, damage expressions, save details, and level-dependent values that had previously rendered as incomplete prose.
  • Corrected item-price extraction so variants use the price matching their level, known zero-cost entries remain 0 gp, and unknown prices remain blank instead of inventing a value.
  • Normalized vehicle prices to readable GP values without assigning prices to records whose source does not provide one.
  • Restored hazard attacks and complete hazard/vehicle mechanics that were present in the source but missing from their Encounter+ sheets.
  • Corrected internal condition links without producing nested or broken Markdown.
  • Corrected the Operations Center instructions to use Library → System, open the actual home page, and tap the ribbon-shaped bookmark icon directly—there is no additional menu.
  • Added regression coverage for compendium conversion, item prices, hazard and vehicle presentation, native reference tables, compact Operations Center selectors, links, and source citations.

Package contents and validation

  • 17,313 ORC records.
  • 679 separately marked OGL records.
  • 17,993 total installed records including the project-authored Encounter XP Planner.
  • 68 system definition files validated.
  • Archive structure, notices, manifest version, collection counts, forbidden/private fields, and release checksums verified before publication.
