🎉 FlyTomo v3.0.1 Update

FlyTomo is a streamlined software platform for on-the-fly cryo-ET data processing and diagnosis. This binary release is compiled for Linux (x86_64) systems. This minor update introduces a new quality-of-life feature and fixes several important bugs.

What's New in v3.0.1

  • Feature: Added automatic "select all" functionality for tomograms when none are explicitly selected.
  • Bug Fix: Fixed an issue that prevented the generation of relion_input files for .st.star file extensions.
  • Bug Fix: Corrected incorrect Thickness units in fiducials / patch_tracking methods.
  • Bug Fix: Resolved an issue where the reprocess function would fail when switching between different alignment methods.

  • AWI Detection: Automated air-water interface detection tools.

🛠 Installation

  1. Download: Download the flyTomo.tar.gz file.
  2. Extract: Open your terminal and run the following command to extract the package:
    tar -zxvf flyTomo.tar.gz
  3. Setup Permissions: Enter the directory and ensure the executable has run permissions:
cd flyTomo
chmod +x flyTomo

📚 Tutorial Data (Optional)

To help you get started with the FlyTomo workflow, we provide a test dataset (~20GB).

Usage: After downloading, extract the data to a convenient location. You can point FlyTomo to this directory to simulate an In-EM-session.
