Added
- Windows installer.
RimManager-Setup-*.exeinstalls per user with no
administrator prompt, adds RimManager to the Start menu and to Apps & Features,
and uninstalls cleanly — with the choice to keep or remove your data. The
portable zip remains for those who prefer no installation. - Documentation. Seven player guides — getting started, sorting, conflicts,
modlists and history, updates and the Workshop, sharing, and an FAQ — linked
from the README. - Issue forms for bug reports and feature requests, contributing and security
policies, and automated dependency updates.
Fixed
- The rule editor now does what it says. Rules you write and community rules
you switch off are applied to every sort and every validation. Previously the
editor saved them and reported "sort to apply them" without applying them. - Warnings and the sorter now always see the same rules, so a rule you disabled
stops warning and a rule you wrote warns when your order violates it. - Test-suite reliability on macOS.
Changed
- The README and its feature list were rewritten for players, and every claim in
it was verified against the application's behaviour.
Removed
- The command-line interface. RimManager is now a desktop application only.
This halves the download list; existing CLI archives from beta.1 remain
available on its release page.
