v0.3.0
What's Changed
🔧 Major: Script path refactor & network interface support
The bundled DNS update script has been replaced with a git submodule (cloudflare-ddns-script), and the webGUI now supports network interface selection for fetching your public IP.
Breaking Changes
- Config file moved:
app/script/.env→app/cloudflare-ddns-script/config.txt - Script path changed:
app/script/→app/cloudflare-ddns-script/(now a git submodule) - Existing installations need to re-run
setup.shor manually migrate their config file
New Features
- Network interface selection —
setup.shnow prompts you to choose a specific network interface (e.g.eth0,wlan0) or use the system default. Useful for multi-NIC setups where you want DDNS to use a specific connection. - The selected interface is stored in
config.txtasnetwork_interfaceand used by the webGUI for:- Displaying your current public IP
- Force-executing the DNS update
- Setting up the crontab entry
Bug Fixes
- Fixed hardcoded script path in
Dockerfile(/app/script→/app/cloudflare-ddns-script) - Fixed config file path in
setup.sh - Quoted
$confirmvariables insetup.shto prevent empty-input errors
Improvements
- Switched from
docker-compose(v1) todocker compose(v2) syntax insetup.sh - DNS update script is now managed as a git submodule (cloudflare-ddns-script), making it easier to update independently
- Added
.idea/to.gitignore - Minor grammar fix in README
