v1.0.8
What's new in this release?
-
A Linux version is available in .deb format. It has only been tested on Ubuntu and PikaOS but should work on other Debian-based distributions such as Pop!_OS.
-
A macOS version (Apple Silicon) is available in .dmg format.
-
You can provide a reference image to the Z-Image and Anima models. The reference strength is adjustable, and it can be combined with a LoRA.
-
If a reference image contains transparency, it is flattened onto a white background (previously a black background).
-
The "This LoRA seems incompatible..." warning has been replaced with an error that is displayed when the incompatibility is real.
-
The display bug of the Copy button when hovering over the "Displayed Image Prompt" block has been fixed.
-
The paths used by the application are more conventional, for example on Windows: C:\Users\peter\AppData\Local\ZPix instead of C:\Users\peter\.zpix.
-
The source code has been reorganized to make the project easier to maintain.
-
The Python interpreter and most Python packages have been updated.

v1.0.7
What's new in this version?
- The Krea 2 Turbo model is now available! It supports a wide range of artistic styles and performs very well with text rendering. Here is an image generated with this new model:
- FLUX.2 [klein] 4B is now available in 4-bit and 8-bit versions, and the quality of the Anima "Turbo" model has been slightly improved. The 8-bit version of [klein] 4B (labeled "HQ" in the selector) should give you slightly more accurate results.
- When a blocking operation is in progress (for example, a model download), the error message displayed is clearer.
- Fixed the bug where the first LoRA loaded after starting ZPix does not trigger the display of the LoRA parameters.
- Common Python dependencies have been consolidated into the requirements.txt file to facilitate maintenance.

v1.0.6
What's new in this version?
-
The Anima model is available in two versions: Turbo and Base.
-
You can access advanced parameters (CFG and Steps) by clicking the slider icon, in the sidebar.
-
A "Displayed Image Prompt" block replaces the "Previous Prompts" block. Prompts are no longer stored in a database. This new block contains two buttons: Copy and Reuse, relating to the image selected in the gallery. It's still possible to recover a prompt by dragging and dropping from the gallery or from Windows File Explorer.
-
A "Delete Image" button, relating to the image selected in the gallery, allows to sort images more quickly.
-
You can customize the output folder for generated images by clicking the folder icon with the gear, in the sidebar.
-
Three ratios have been added: 5:4, 4:5 and 2:1.
-
For almost all aspect ratios, a maximum resolution is provided (2048).
-
The maximum prompt length has been slightly increased.
-
When switching model, an animation draws more of your attention to the fact that the model is loading.
-
The "Reference Images" block is only displayed when the "FLUX.2 [klein] 4B" model is loaded.
-
Once the interface has loaded, the application attempts to check and informs you if a new version is available. This feature doesn't prevent you from using ZPix offline.
-
ZPix has a new icon. All icons in the sidebar are now vector-based.
-
