Item Quality Highlight

Soft quality glow on the native item icon border for World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade Classic (Anniversary) only.

Features

• Colors the Blizzard IconBorder by item quality (Uncommon and above)
• Soft ADD bloom on the same rounded frame — does not paint over the icon art
• Quest items get a light-yellow highlight
• Poor / Common items are not highlighted
• Works across default Blizzard UIs: bags, character, bank, mail, auction house, inspect, merchant, loot, quest rewards, and other item buttons
• Skips third-party addon frames (Bagnon, ElvUI bags, Auctionator UI, etc.)

Requirements

Client	TBC Anniversary (_anniversary_)
Interface	20506 (update TOC if Blizzard bumps it)
Not supported (yet)	Retail, Classic Era, Cataclysm, MoP, Wrath, private 2.4.3 servers

Install

1. Download the latest release zip from GitHub or CurseForge
2. Extract so you get:

World of Warcraft\_anniversary_\Interface\AddOns\ItemQualityHighlight\
  ItemQualityHighlight.toc
  ItemQualityHighlight.lua
  icon.png

3. Restart the game or /reload, enable the addon in the character select addon list

Usage

No slash commands or options. Enable the addon — quality glow appears automatically.

Build a CurseForge zip

Double-click package.cmd in the repo root, or from Command Prompt:

package.cmd

Creates release\ItemQualityHighlight-<version>.zip with the correct folder layout for CurseForge upload (no PowerShell script execution required).

Version is read from ## Version: in the TOC.

CurseForge upload notes (TBC only)

1. Upload the zip from release\
2. Tag only Burning Crusade Classic / 2.5.x game versions
3. Do not select Retail, Era, Cata, MoP, or Wrath
