ROTEM wire 0.6 · Java 2026 and 2027 Alpha 7

Experimental Java SDK for implemented ROTEM wire protocol 0.6.

• 2026: WPILib 2026.2.2, Java 17 bytecode, GradleRIO 2026.2.1.
• 2027: WPILib/GradleRIO 2027.0.0-alpha-7, Java 25, explicit CANPort support.
• 28 decoder/health checks passed against firmware-generated C vectors.
• Complete Gradle robot examples built for both seasons, including a second offline build with dependencies cached.
• Missing/stale/malformed readings are invalid, not zero. Age uses the transport clock.

Offline archives include the matching Maven artifacts and vendordep. WPILib/JDK/Gradle dependencies must already be installed.

Physical Systemcore/roboRIO, first-article C1 high-rate CAN and long-duration reliability checks remain pending. This is not stable hardware qualification. Historical draft 0.9 artifacts remain available for old projects and are incompatible with this protocol.
