First release of CropDoc, built for NextStep Hacks 2026 (Earth Forward, Machine Learning / AI track).

Point your phone at a crop leaf and get an instant diagnosis, targeted treatment and the right dose to mix, fully offline.

Install

  1. Download CropDoc-v1.0.0.apk below on your Android phone.
  2. Open it and allow installs from your browser or file manager when asked.
  3. Needs an arm64 Android phone (virtually every modern one).

What's inside

  • Offline diagnosis of 38 conditions across 14 crops (on-device MobileNetV2, TensorFlow Lite)
  • Treatment steps, batch field scanning and plot-by-plot progress tracking
  • Dosage calculator with on-device pesticide label OCR
  • Ask: an offline AI assistant (SmolLM2 via llama.cpp) with voice input and read-aloud answers. The model is an optional ~370 MB one-time download.
  • 11 languages, including Hindi, Swahili, Bengali and Urdu (RTL)
  • Optional Gemini second opinion when online (bring your own API key in Settings)

Photos, history and chats stay on the phone.
