Summary

MSIXKFXArchiver fails at the DLL hook stage on Microsoft Store Kindle app 1.0.22920.0.
Everything up to that point succeeds — app detection, registration-data decryption, and DSN
extraction all work. It aborts only when matching dsx120.dll against the supported-MD5 map.

Tested with v10.0.28 (MSIXKFXArchiverMobi1_18632.exe) and v10.0.29
(MSIXKFXArchiverMobi1_22326.exe). Both fail identically.

Ruled out, per the guidance in the "MSIXKFXArchiverMobi1_18632 not working on a new laptop"
thread:

• ✅ Ran the correct new binary (..._22326.exe, not ..._18632.exe)
• ✅ Ran from Command Prompt as Administrator
• ✅ Deleted C:\Data between attempts so no stale copy was reused

The _22326 build supports Store app 1.0.22326; this machine is on 1.0.22920, which
appears to be a newer build Amazon has shipped since.

Note: the Store only ever serves the newest build, so a fresh install lands on 1.0.22920.0
directly — there was no opportunity to install a supported version first.

• Registry scan matched the app correctly
• registration_data decrypted; DSN extracted successfully
• All seven hook targets located (malloc, free, memcpy, NCryptOpenKey,
  NCryptDecrypt, NCryptCreatePersistedKey, NCryptEncrypt)
• App folder copied to C:\Data successfully

Ensure the MSIXKFXArchiverMobi1_xxxxx.exe matches the correct version of Kindle for Windows app. This is important.

Kindle app version installed today: 1.0.23514.0 (I was forced to upgrade from 2.4.something)
