Troubleshooting

Quick fixes for the most common snags. Still stuck? Reach out on Telegram.

The extension isn't in my toolbar

Click the puzzle‑piece icon in your browser and pin Fanripper. If it's gone entirely, re‑check Load unpacked on your extensions page (Installation) — and make sure you didn't move or delete the unzipped folder.

A downloaded video won't play

Let the download fully finish before opening it — a partial file won't play. If one specific clip still won't open, download it again; if it keeps happening, send us the creator + post on Telegram.

I can't sign in

  • Re‑check the 6‑character code in your email (and spam) — request a fresh one if it expired.
  • Make sure you're using the same email you signed up with.
  • Signing into the web dashboard from several browsers is fine — Fanripper keeps your most recent sessions automatically, so you won't get locked out.

"Device limit reached"

Your plan allows one download device at a time. Moving to a new computer? Reset your device from the web dashboard (Devices) or via @fanripperbot, then sign in on the new machine.

A bulk run stopped early

Big profiles take time, and OnlyFans occasionally rate‑limits a fast crawl. Just start the run again — each run goes into its own dated folder, so a retry never disturbs what you already saved.

My license key won't redeem

  • Check for typos. Keys use only unambiguous characters — there's no 0, O, 1, or I.
  • A key works once — if it's already been redeemed, it won't apply again.
  • See License Keys, or ask on Telegram.

After updating, Fanripper looks logged out

If you removed and re‑added the extension, just sign in again — your account, plan and cloud backups are safe on the server. Reusing the same folder and hitting ↻ refresh keeps you signed in.
