@SauravMukherjee44 SauravMukherjee44 released this 24 Oct 19:40

CodeIN Community 1.1 improves the community website and adds everyday developer tools at https://codeincommunity.com/tools.

  • Fixes the first-contribution panel alignment and restores complete session posters across desktop and mobile widths.
  • Restores the original 100 Days of Code, Winter Fest, and Spark-a-thon banners to the landing page, with program details and recap links.
  • Restores the original community milestones, all five sponsor logos, and the official Netlify community-partner badge in the footer.
  • Adds consistent SVG icons and proper spacing between the joining actions and footer.
  • Adds a JSON formatter/validator/minifier, Unicode-safe Base64 converter, and URL/query inspector with encoding and decoding. Developer-tool input stays in the browser.
  • Revamps the README with brand assets, screenshots, sponsor logos, all 150 contributor avatars, and a chart of 928 original commits dating back to September 2021. Existing Git history, authorship, and dates are preserved.
  • Adds the portable @codein-community/toolkit/developer ESM entry point in toolkit 0.2.0. CLI 0.1.1 remains bundled and independently installable.

Download the packages below and verify them with checksums.txt:

npm install -g ./codein-community-cli-0.1.1.tgz
codein audit ./my-project --format json
codein templates --repo owner/repo --out ./contribution-kit
codein credits owner/repo --format markdown

Validation covers type checking, lint, the production build, 62 unit/API/CLI tests, 42 browser tests, accessibility in light/dark themes, geometry checks from 320px to 1920px, original banner links, footer clearance, packaged installation, and historical commit ancestry. All 406 archived files remain unchanged. npm publication remains deferred.

@SauravMukherjee44 SauravMukherjee44 released this 24 Oct 18:44

CodeIN Community now brings together the community website and three open-source maintainer tools at https://codeincommunity.com.

  • Next.js 16, React 19, strict TypeScript, Tailwind, Node.js 24, and a pinned pnpm workspace.
  • Repository Readiness Auditor, Contribution Template Builder, and Contributor Credits Generator, available through the website, shared ESM libraries, and bundled CLI.
  • Searchable contributor credits with all 150 baseline GitHub identities retained; complete pagination, stable IDs, and failure-safe refreshes.
  • Community heritage, historical programs and team credits, original contribution tracks and practice tasks, and compatible legacy content redirects.
  • Responsive light/dark layouts, keyboard navigation, and browser accessibility checks.

The existing repository and Git history are preserved. All 406 original tracked files, including assets and third-party notices, are archived under legacy/website and verified against legacy/manifest.json. The pre-migration source is tagged legacy-website-2026-10-24.

Install the CLI archive with Node.js 24:

npm install -g ./codein-community-cli-0.1.0.tgz
codein audit ./my-project --format json
codein templates --repo owner/repo --out ./contribution-kit
codein credits owner/repo --format markdown

The toolkit archive includes ESM exports and TypeScript declarations. npm publication, accounts, databases, and private-repository access are deferred. Verify downloads against checksums.txt before installing.

Validation: type checking, lint, production build, 45 unit/API/CLI tests, 20 browser tests locally and on the Netlify preview, archive integrity, and temporary installation of each release package. Automated accessibility checks found no serious or critical violations on tested routes and themes. The previous Netlify production deployment remains available for rollback; see docs/DEPLOYMENT.md.
