Main changes from 1.7

• Resident tray host with an independent Codex process per work. Closing or
  switching a frontend does not cancel its work; reconnect or use multiple
  frontends without creating a second writer.
• Native TMI Computer Use tools: window/control discovery, bounded reads and
  images, direct background window messages, explicit UIA/physical alternatives,
  separate read/control consent, blue/red indicators and ESC interruption.
• On-demand CLI maintenance suspends idle Codex connections and reconnects
  them afterwards. Active or waiting work prevents maintenance.
• Shared Pinned entries, Archived group, thread search and multi-frontend list
  refresh. Working-directory changes do not create a new project. Documents
  includes the actual Windows Documents folder and all its subdirectories.
• Compact toggle buttons, optional Visualize/WebView2 viewer, and retained
  Full Load, diffs, Changed Files, Usage, Questions, attachments and formulas.
• Separate 1.x and 2.x update lines. The 2.x downloader validates and stages
  complete bundles, including all four EXEs and required viewer files, without
  replacing the local INI.

Installation and updates

Download the TMILitePlusBundle-2.0.G.T-Win64.zip asset and verify its SHA-256
using SHA256SUMS.txt. Extract the complete archive into a writable directory.
Keep all four EXEs, documentation and runtime files together; local IPC
protocol 14 requires matching components. Codex CLI is installed separately.

Upgrade from 1.x manually: close the old application and any running TMI
host before extracting the full 2.0 bundle. Do not copy only the frontend or
overwrite files still in use. The legacy updater intentionally does not select
2.x bundle assets, so future 1.x updates remain possible.

2.x Release uses stable-2; 2.x Rolling uses rolling-2. No 2.x Rolling is
published yet. The existing 1.x Latest release and Rolling are unchanged, so
the generic GitHub Latest badge may still show 1.x. This numbered v2.0
release is the immutable 2.0 download.

Verification and limitations

Release/Win64 builds and focused regressions passed. Practical use confirmed
multi-frontend Pinned/Archived refresh, resident reattachment and desktop
operation. The reported occasional tray AV has not recurred; its original
occurrence was not reproduced. Remote bundle staging is checked with isolated
fixtures, not claimed as a live in-place network update test.

TMI is independent from OpenAI. Hobby-developed software is free for lawful
personal or professional use, entirely at the user's risk; no professional or
production suitability is warranted. Do not use TMI and the ChatGPT desktop
app on the same project simultaneously. Read the included EULA and notices.
WebView2 Runtime and the optional MicroTeX renderer are separate dependencies;
Codex CLI and MicroTeX runtime binaries are not included.

This channel is used only by TMI Lite+ 2.x. The legacy 1.x latest release and rolling channel are unchanged.

Main changes

• Native persistent prompt queue with Enqueue, next-prompt preview and an
  on-demand panel for editing, removing, reordering and starting queued work.
• Clickable follow-ups, file citations and Question links; case-insensitive
  title search includes Unassigned.
• Complete preview before bulk assignment of unassigned threads, with shared
  project reuse and Windows Documents/system-directory exclusions.
• Optional automatic LaTeX previews, corrected formula boundaries and resize
  behavior, cached graphics, zoomable viewer and original-resolution Copy image.
• Duplicate (fork) retains the source project independently of working directory.
• Selective settings changes preserve unrelated server permissions; rejected
  changes restore server-confirmed values instead of silently being resent.

Computer Use limitation

With Codex CLI 0.160.0, native OpenAI Computer Use is unavailable in
standalone TMI Lite+ 1.x. The tested backend requires the native host started
by the ChatGPT desktop app. Enabling the plugin or selecting Full Access does
not start that host. TMI 1.7 does not include an independent Windows Computer Use
backend. Ordinary CLI development and independent MCP tools are not disabled.
The planned TMI 2.0 backend is not part of this release.

Installation

Download TMILitePlus-1.7.9772.42474-Win64.zip and check SHA256SUMS.txt.
Extract the complete archive to a writable directory. Preserve your installed
TMILitePlus.ini when upgrading manually; the included INI has neutral defaults.
Codex CLI and the optional MicroTeX renderer are not bundled. Documentation and
optional renderer installation instructions are included. The documentation and
EULA version are 1.7, so the updated disclaimer will be presented again.

Release/Win64 compilation and five targeted regression checks passed. Previous
release archives and the existing Rolling assets remain unchanged.

Main changes since 1.5

• Server-backed projects and threads: a grouped browser, recent-activity ordering,
  archived-only mode and context-menu management (rename, assign, duplicate,
  archive/unarchive and confirmed deletion).
• Search: global title search with an integrated magnifier/clear button;
  Enter searches and Esc clears. A separate modeless window searches conversation
  contents and displays matching excerpts. Full Load remains available.
• Project roots: manage several working directories per project, fill the list
  from associated threads, and assign a root to the current thread. Used roots
  cannot be removed. Assign to project supports New without changing cwd.
• Startup and readability: the last-used project expands when ready without
  automatically opening its thread. Clear project/thread/cwd headings, localized
  dates, longer hints and optional conversation caching in Config.
• Usage: account statistics in a non-modal window, daily/weekly charts and an
  extended calendar heatmap; data is separate from live allowance counters.
• Runtime tools: Activity timing and an on-demand MCP/connector/background-
  terminal inventory. Unicode formulas and a local on-demand image viewer.

Installation

Download PromptLitePlus-1.6.9767.24629-Win64.zip, verify SHA256SUMS.txt, and
extract it into a writable directory. Keep your existing INI when upgrading
manually; the included INI is intended for a fresh installation. Codex CLI and
MicroTeX are not bundled. The versioned EULA is displayed for acceptance.

This is the latest stable release, available to the Release update channel.
The existing Rolling release and all previous release archives remain unchanged.

Release/Win64 compilation and targeted UI/project-roots tests passed. The Raize
search button's focused background remains a known cosmetic limitation. Prompt
queue automation, generic plugin UI hosting and historical per-item timing are
not included. See the packaged Release Notes and User Guide for details.

Formerly Prompt Lite+, now TMI Lite+. This release retains the 1.6 features and updates the application identity, executable, configuration names, documentation and repository links.

Release/Win64 executable: 1.6.9767.30081. Minimum Codex CLI: 0.157.1.

Download TMILitePlus-1.6.9767.30081-Win64.zip and verify it against SHA256SUMS.txt. Close the old application before launching TMILitePlus.exe. Do not run old and renamed applications concurrently on the same conversation.

There is no old-name lookup or automatic settings migration. Local preferences use TMILitePlus.ini; shared settings use HKCU\Software\TMILitePlus. Existing settings may be renamed manually before launch.

Codex CLI and MicroTeX are not bundled. The optional math adapter is named TMILiteMath.dll; installation instructions are included.

This separate stable release preserves the previously published v1.6 package and Rolling assets. The cosmetic Raize search-button focus background issue remains unchanged.

Main changes

• Agent questions: readable selectable answers and free text in a non-modal
  window, without interrupting the active task. The window closes after the
  last accepted reply; drafts survive failed submissions.
• Model/reasoning synchronization: thread metadata updates the selectors
  during opening; newer settings notifications take precedence.
• Config: gear button, conversation/activity rolling limits, three dark
  conversation color presets. The application theme remains unchanged.
• Release and Rolling updates: configurable background checks, verified
  downloads, explicit restart, no automatic interruption of active work.
  Personal INI settings are preserved. Rolling will be available after its
  first publication.
• Show in Explorer: native Windows Shell file selection.

directory. For an existing installation, keep your personal PromptLitePlus.ini.
The ZIP name includes the full EXE version; no update manifest is needed.

New in this rolling

• Assign unassigned threads to projects... scans active and archived main
  threads and shows a preview of thread names, working directories and destination
  projects. Accept or cancel the entire list before any write.
• Missing projects are created from distinct paths only after acceptance.
  Threads sharing a path reuse the same project ID, including projects created
  earlier in the cycle. Existing unique-root matches are reused.
• Excludes agents, already assigned threads, missing paths, ambiguous roots,
  the user's Windows Documents folder and the Windows system directory.
  Windows identifies these folders; no text-based folder-name exclusion is used.
  Documents subfolders remain eligible. Untitled main threads display a prompt
  excerpt without being renamed or mistaken for agents.
• The final report shows assignments, projects created, exclusions and server
  errors. No files or working directories change. Automatic assignment to
  existing roots, triggered by opening an empty project, remains unchanged.
• Native Enqueue and Queue (n) controls, next-message preview and a queue
  overlay for reading, editing, removing, reordering and starting pending prompts.
  Codex CLI owns and persists the queue; no local automation engine or simulated
  pause is added. Failed or unconfirmed submissions retain the input.
• Clickable follow-up labels paste their prompt, asking before overwriting a
  draft; sending and enqueueing remain user actions. File citations support
  spaced paths and the existing file menu. Question links open Questions.
• Conversation-name search is case-insensitive and includes Unassigned threads.

Release/Win64 compilation and protocol fixtures passed: preview/cancel are
read-only, shared paths reuse project IDs, pagination and archives are covered,
system folders are identified correctly, and creation failures remain visible.
No real threads were reassigned during verification.

Select Rolling in Config to receive rolling updates. Stable-channel users
and the stable 1.6 release are unaffected. The package includes a clean base INI,
without development secrets or accepted-EULA state.
