Beta 1.2.0
Pre-release
Pre-release
HealthAtlas Beta 1.2.0 improves large Apple Health imports and makes combined data from multiple sources easier to understand.
Import
- Supports direct
Export.xmlfiles and ZIP archives up to the 5 GiB HealthAtlas safety limit. - Reads the original XML sequentially once. Only records needed for overlap handling use a bounded local temporary spool.
- Adds a working Cancel button. A cancelled import never replaces the current data with an incomplete result.
- Warns that files above 500 MB can take longer and files from 1 GB can require several minutes.
Sources and duplicate handling
- Removes exact duplicate records based on their complete exported attributes.
- Handles overlapping steps, distance, active energy and asleep intervals with a deterministic 15-minute source rule.
- Keeps separate measurement samples, such as heart rate and weight, unless they are exact duplicates.
- Deduplicates workouts only when all exported attributes match.
- Keeps the source choice stable when coverage is equal by using alphabetical source order without case or accent differences.
Verification and documentation
- Adds synthetic tests for source overlap, interval boundaries, duplicate records, sleep, measurements and workouts.
- Updates the German and English manuals with the 5 GiB limit, cancellation behavior and measured import guidance.
Privacy
All imports remain on the Mac. HealthAtlas has no account, analytics, tracking or health-data upload. The included demo and test fixtures contain synthetic data only.
