Ritual is an Android-first, local-only mindful food photo journal. It is designed for reflection rather than calorie counting: capture a meal, notice how it felt, and revisit patterns without judgment.

Product principles

1. Notice, do not score. Ritual has no calories, targets, red/green foods, or nutrition judgments.
2. Private by default. There is no login, server, analytics SDK, advertising SDK, or automatic upload.
3. Optional structure. Reflection scales, reminders, streaks, locations, and notes can be omitted or disabled.
4. Portable by choice. Data leaves the Android app sandbox only when the user explicitly exports it.

Current release

Version 1.5 adds a first-run welcome setup, customizable reminder times, fixed-width selection behavior, and a weekday streak row. The project remains in active development and is not medical advice.
