A mod by ScrDesh (aka ScribbleDesh). Powercards adds a bunch of collectible cards with unique costs, effects, and abilities! This turns Minecraft into a Deckbuilder where everyone plays their own unique way! The mod is inspired by similar games such as Block Tales and Paper Mario.
To equip the cards, players gain a new inventory, their 'Deck', and a new resource metre, their 'BP' or Build Points. They start with a relatively low amount of BP, at 3. The total BP cost of all the equipped cards in your deck must not exceed your max BP, if it does, your cards won't work. You can increase your max BP by using an item commonly found in card packs, the Power Card. You can find card packs and card shreds in chests throughout the world, like in mineshafts and villages! A card pack gives the player 3 random cards, and 8 card shreds and an iron ingot can craft a card pack. Excess cards a player doesn't want can be turned into card shreds via crafting. This is my first ever mod (well, not really, but it's the first one i've wanted to publish), and it's in quite an early state. I plan to improve things a lot and add more features as I learn and go! Please report here all the horrendous bugs you find!
