FTP Load Test GUI v2.1

A modern dark-themed graphical version of the FTP Load Test tool.

Designed to help diagnose intermittent Scan-to-FTP / Scan-to-Folder failures on network printers (Kyocera, Ricoh, HP, Xerox, etc.).

How to Use

  1. Download FtpLoadTest-GUI.ps1
  2. Right-click → Run with PowerShell
  3. Click Load Config (if you already have a ftpconfig.ini)
  4. Click Start Test

Notes

  • The tool was built to help troubleshoot real-world printer Scan-to-FTP issues
  • Works with Windows PowerShell 5.1 and PowerShell 7+

FTP Load Test Script v1.10

A PowerShell tool for thoroughly testing FTP server reliability, with a strong focus on diagnosing intermittent Scan to FTP / Scan to Folder failures on network printers (especially Kyocera, Ricoh, HP, etc.).

What's New in v1.10

  • Improved error handling – Clearer messages when the FTP server cannot be reached
  • DNS Reliability Check now shows timing for each lookup
  • Better detection and messaging when a hostname cannot be resolved
  • Script now cleanly aborts if the initial FTP connection fails (no more pointless upload attempts)
  • More robust handling of null/empty FTP error responses
  • Cleaner console output and logging

  • Full login → change directory → upload → logoff cycle (repeated)
  • Configurable number of test loops
  • Passive / Active mode support

  • Optional file integrity verification (SHA256)
