Setup Instructions

Clone the repository git clone cd hospital_management_project

Install dependencies pip install -r requirements.txt
If requirements.txt is not present:
pip install django psycopg2-binary djangorestframework python-dotenv
- Configure database
Ensure PostgreSQL is running and your credentials in hospital_management/settings.py are correct:
DATABASES = { 'default': { 'ENGINE': 'django.db.backends.postgresql', 'NAME': 'hospital_db', 'USER': 'postgres', 'PASSWORD': 'admin123', 'HOST': 'localhost', 'PORT': '5432', } }

Apply migrations python3 manage.py makemigrations python3 manage.py migrate
