Socket.IO parser security patch

Single-fix release, published so the patch below reaches a tagged image. It landed on main shortly after v0.5.52 was tagged, so the 0.5.52 image does not contain it. Upgrade if you are running 0.5.52 or earlier.

Nothing else changed.

Security

  • socket.io-parser 4.2.7 (#102), closing a high severity advisory: CVE-2026-69185, "Socket.IO: Zero-attachment Memory Exhaustion". A binary packet declaring zero attachments was accepted and could be used to exhaust memory. 4.2.7 rejects it — the decoder now refuses any attachment count below one, where previously only counts above the maximum were checked.

This is a transitive dependency of socket.io and sits in the path of every packet MikroDash sends, so the upgrade was verified rather than taken on trust: the guard was confirmed present in the shipped code, the full suite passes against the upgraded tree, and the app was booted and driven in a browser with the socket connected and live data rendering.
