What is left to do: go to https://travis-ci.org → authenticate with GitHub → change under user profile (top right corner) to Secretchronicles account (left edge) → click the switch of SMC repo to activate. done.

  • builds currently run between 4 and 6 minutes
  • gcc 4.6.3 and clang 3.4 are used (newer versions would be possible, though)
  • project is configured and installed (without special configuration)

Ubuntu Precise is not supported anyway, so the question is whether we should really test against it. As explained on IRC, I cannot maintain that, so I concentrate on current Ubuntu LTS, which is Trusty. If Ubuntu maintainers decide to add SMC to their repositories, they will take the version that was supported at that time, so I don’t see any problems with that.

Vale,
Quintus

Well, travis-ci servers use precise and will continue to use precise for the time being. I cannot change that.

Hm, OK. We will have to have a look on Travis when it updates to Trusty so that we have to adapt the build script. I will merge this soon.

This is not needed, travis updates submodules automatically

This PR has been standing out far too long. I think once the 2.0.0 release is out, it should be merged as quickly as possible.

I am closing this now, it is easier to just wait until the new release is out and maybe travis-ci has updated their servers by then.
