A modernized fork of sc0ty/subsync by Michał Szymaniak.

What's new in this fork

  • PocketSphinx 5.x — speech recognition ported from the removed sphinxbase/PocketSphinx API to a maintained release (endpointer-based VAD).
  • FFmpeg 6.x support.
  • New "per-subtitle (piecewise)" sync mode — warps timing per subtitle from the correlation points, fixing non-linear drift (cut scenes, ad breaks, mid-file resyncs) that a single offset+speed line can't. Selectable in the GUI ("Sync method") and CLI (--sync-mode piecewise).
  • wxPython 4.2 compatibility fixes.
