  • QTE shootouts no longer ask for buttons: a dot marks the enemy, aim at it and shoot.
  • Akimbo: you can reload one gun while shooting the other; akimbo reloads are 30% slower.
  • Comfort vignette: Low, Medium and High now close in on the view while moving or turning, instead of only darkening the lens edge (#3).
  • Empty guns click again when you pull the trigger, without recoil or vibration (#4).
  • Leaning your head to dodge a bullet in Sense of Death no longer slides the body sideways (#5).
  • The wrist ammo counter no longer freezes after a long session (#1).

Fixes: black HUD at level start, damage effect, pause arms, manual reload

  • The black screen that covered the view for about a second when a level
starts or a checkpoint loads is gone: the game's full-screen fade no
longer shows up as a black panel in front of you.
  • Getting shot no longer shows black squares with a white star (the damage
effect is turned off in VR as intended).
  • The pause menu no longer shows the game's arms: your hands stay where
    they were.
  • Guns no longer reload by themselves when the ammo runs out: press X to
    reload.
  • Includes the Mexican standoff and the gatling guns from the previous
    version.

v0.1.2 PRE RELEASE

Mexican standoff and gatling guns in VR

  • Duels: in a Mexican standoff (tested with the Sundance Kid duel of the Duel mode), look at the
other enemy to switch your focus to him. The focus signs follow the enemy you are facing and stay until the draw
signal. Focus fills more slowly in a standoff, since the wait is much longer.
  • Gatling guns in VR: squeeze the grip on the gatling to use it from where you stand. Hold it with one hand to aim
(it turns around its real pivot) and turn the crank with the other hand to fire: the faster you turn, the faster it
shoots. Bullets leave the gatling's barrel, with the same aim dot as the guns. Your hands stay visible, and the
crank hand grabs the crank's handle. Let go with both hands to leave.
  • Turning the crank no longer triggers the hand-swing melee.
