release.yml's preflight refuses a tag that does not name the version this source reports -- `project(VERSION)` is hand-edited in a PR before the tag is pushed, deliberately not derived from git -- so v0.1.5 cannot be tagged until this line says 0.1.5. What 0.1.5 carries since v0.1.4: the native PulseAudio and PipeWire output backends, the stream hooks (--hook-start / --hook-stop) together with the fixes that serialise them and keep their commands out of the log, the identity flags (--id, --manufacturer, --product-name), the --audio-format pin, and the end of SENDSPIN_SERVER_URL exporting a stale dialled URL.
