What's new

  • Translate a standalone image. Open or drop a PNG/JPG/JPEG/WebP/GIF/BMP/TIFF and the app OCRs it and lays translatable text plates over the picture - Chrome/Edge's built-in page translation then works on it in place, the same result the browser extension produces for images. No API key.
  • GUI: images now appear in the file picker (new "Documents & images" / "Images" filters) and in the drop-zone "Supported" line; the OCR hint notes that a standalone image is recognized automatically (en/ru/uk).
  • New embedder contract docs/integration-image-translate.md (used by Fast Media Sorter LITE) for calling the CLI to translate an image.
