AmbiSun webOS 0.2.4 is a global webOS update.

  • Added automatic HyperHDR effect preview while browsing the effect list.
  • Reused the Windows effect selection and application logic.
  • Added four modes for applications and sources: Disabled, By sun, Always on, and Always off.
  • New applications after reset default to Disabled.
  • Added the Main solar effect.
  • Reset now starts the initial setup again with language, region, and city selection.
  • Improved Magic Remote navigation, page switching, Back actions, brightness controls, and temporary 10-second brightness/effect previews.
  • Added application icons and the ability to hide applications from the interface.
  • Improved HyperHDR availability checks and added configurable HyperHDR IP address and port.
  • Added the Air/TV source for regular television input.
  • Updated layout, headings, clock/date placement, button styling, and MIT license localization.
  • Updated all 39 translations and modularized the webOS frontend, CSS, and service code.

Windows version is not included in this release.

Existing settings remain in /media/internal/ambisun/config.json.
