Two headline features and a round of UI polish.

Download queue

Paste link after link — each one becomes a card and downloads in order. Every card shows its own progress, speed and ETA, with a ✕ to cancel an active download or drop a queued one. Quality and format are locked in per item the moment you add it, and free disk space is checked before each item starts.

Pre-download preview

Before a single byte is downloaded, each queued link fetches its title, channel, duration and thumbnail. Broken links and members-only, private or age-restricted videos now fail fast with a plain-language message instead of wasting bandwidth. Cookies are still only used when a video actually needs them.

UI polish

• Press Enter in the URL field to start a download; the field gets a red focus ring and clears after each add
• Sidebar shows an accent bar on the active page and the app version
• History cards gain a Play button, hover states and a friendlier empty state
• Opening files and folders now works on macOS and Linux, not just Windows
• Unified button styles and a proper green for success states

Downloads

• Windows: YT7th-windows.zip — extract and run YT7th.exe (FFmpeg + Deno bundled)
• macOS (Apple Silicon): YT7th-macos.zip — unsigned, so right-click → Open on first launch

Both zips are attached automatically by CI once the builds finish.

Build the macOS app on Apple Silicon

Switch the macOS leg from macos-13 to macos-14 because the Intel runners
were not being scheduled. The app is now arm64 with a native arm64 Deno,
add a 40 minute job timeout, and note the Apple Silicon requirement in the
readme.
