SeverActions v3.0.7 — Mannequin fidelity, transparent-viewport fallback & camp reliability
A mannequin-fidelity pass, a new transparent-viewport fallback for stubborn load orders, an outfit-menu crash fix, and a reliability fix for Sever's Hearth's "go to camp." Save-compatible with 3.0+; no migration needed.
👗 Outfits / Wardrobe
These affect the offscreen mannequin preview only — never your follower's real in-game appearance.
-
Per-pixel skin shading — reads each skin's subsurface (
_sk) + specular (_s) maps, so CBBE/3BA skins get proper soft tint and highlights instead of a flat sheen. -
Scars, freckles & body overlays now show — RaceMenu/SKEE overlay layers render instead of being dropped.
-
Makeup shows in its real color — tinted RaceMenu/SKEE makeup (eyeshadow, lips, blush) renders with the chosen color.
-
Warpaint & complexion on baked-FaceGen followers — bundled face paint (the FaceGen "FaceTint" layer) now composites onto the head.
-
Fixed an outfit-menu crash on guards, bandits & other leveled/generic NPCs.
-
NEW — Transparent-viewport fallback (Settings → Interface → "Disable Mannequin Preview"): for load orders where the preview won't render. The doll window becomes a transparent cutout onto the live game, so you can still see and dress the NPC in the world (and it skips the preview bake — a performance win). A Free Look button hands the camera to the game so you can frame the NPC with your own camera (SmoothCam / True Directional Movement compatible) — press your menu key to return.
🏕️ Camp
- "Go to camp" works reliably now. Sending a companion (or any NPC) to a Sever's Hearth camp had broken on existing saves — they wouldn't move, could crash the game on the latest runtime, or got pulled back a few seconds after setting off. They now walk over and settle in by the campfire properly. Includes a crash fix on Skyrim 1.6.1170.
🧍 Followers
- "Follow" reliably pulls companions out of camp or waiting. The wheel Follow action is now a clean toggle (companions: resume ⇄ wait; casual NPCs: start ⇄ stop), and resuming follow now properly breaks a companion out of a camp or waiting sandbox instead of leaving them by the fire. Also fixes recruiting/calling a follower not releasing them from a camp.
