local whisperAPI

a copy of the whisper endpoint for openai but instead using a local whisper model.

Build

• install Python, preferably inside a virtual environment like Anaconda Run:

git clone ...
cd local-whisperAPI
pip install -r requirements.txt
python main.py

Changes from upstream

• Added compatibility routes (/v1, /models, etc.)
• Fixed response format (text now string instead of array)
• Confirmed working with Obsidian Whisper plugin
