ConnectorWatch 1.5.5

Prediction reviews now run automatically inside the monitoring app. The daemon
starts a separate offline evaluator when a review is due, then schedules the
next review seven days after completion. Reviews continue with the dashboard
closed and catch up after a restart. They use completed UTC days and require
neither Codex nor a .NET SDK in the installed app.

The dashboard adds Experimental shadow review with recent history, coverage,
exclusions, matched prediction errors, and simulated detection results. A failed
review remains visible alongside the previous completed result. Failed attempts
retry after six hours; each evaluation has a 15-minute limit. Full reports remain
local and separate from recorded telemetry.

Synthetic steps and ramps now use fixed timestamps and durations. Model,
configuration, and scenario identities make changes in test conditions explicit.
The previous moving-window simulation results are not directly comparable with
this version. An incomplete scenario remains unavailable.

These are experimental reviews. They do not promote a prediction model, change
live alert thresholds, or measure connector-damage probability. The update
preserves recorded observations, accepted references, configuration, and the
existing installer startup preference. No physical connector intervention is
required. See prediction reviews for details.

ConnectorWatch 1.5.4

This release adds offline prediction reviews of retained connector-voltage
recordings. It compares current-based models on chronological training,
calibration, and later test days, and reports coverage, prediction error,
experimental advisory activity, and simulated voltage-drop sensitivity.
Power derived from the voltage being predicted remains diagnostic only.

The installer includes the evaluator and Review-Prediction.ps1. The packaged
helper uses the installed application without a .NET SDK or source checkout and
saves timestamped reports separately from telemetry. See
docs/PREDICTION-REVIEW.md for installed and source-checkout usage. Weekly review
scheduling is configured separately; installing this update does not create a
new schedule.

Fine-grained telemetry remains available beyond a week: older recordings are
losslessly compressed, with no age-based deletion. Reviews read these archives
without changing recorded observations or requiring connector disconnection.
The results are experimental evidence for future improvements, not a calibrated
failure probability or a diagnosis of physical damage. Live alerts and accepted
references continue to use the existing monitoring behavior.

Download ConnectorWatch-Setup-1.5.4.exe and run it to update the installed app.
The upgrade preserves configuration, accepted references, recorded history, and
the existing installer startup preference. This patch retains the current
hardware support and self-signed publishing identity.

ConnectorWatch 1.5.3

Electrical degradation confidence now replays compatible retained measurements
against the accepted reference, including measurements recorded before reference
acceptance. Existing daily CSV and compressed logs can contribute comparable days
without waiting to collect the same evidence again.

The dashboard identifies this as retrospective analysis. Replayed history uses a
separate cache and is rebuilt when the accepted reference changes. Original logs,
reference acceptance records, and live monitoring remain intact.

The existing load qualification, source identity, measurement quality, exposure,
and comparability checks still apply. EDC continues to require three comparable
completed UTC days; the incomplete current day does not receive a final score.
Waiting messages explain the evidence still needed.

Download ConnectorWatch-Setup-1.5.3.exe and run it to update manually.
Configuration, accepted references, and recorded history are preserved on upgrade.
This patch does not change native hardware support or the signing identity.

Automatic reference acceptance is now enabled by default. New configurations
and existing configurations without AutoAcceptReference automatically accept
a qualified learned reference once the voltage model has usable evidence.
An explicitly saved off preference remains off. The checkbox and manual
Accept reference button remain available in Reference & analysis.

Accepted baselines remain frozen, and the existing identity, source health,
qualification, and legacy migration checks still apply.

The installer is now named ConnectorWatch-Setup-1.5.2.exe. Versioned releases,
the stable download, and signed update metadata use the versioned filename.
The unversioned download alias remains available for existing links.

Configuration, references, and recorded history are preserved on upgrade. This
patch does not change native hardware support or the signing identity.

ConnectorWatch 1.5.1

This patch release makes reference acceptance visible and deliberate in the
dashboard while keeping the existing monitoring and native-reader scope.

  • Accept reference is available when a learned candidate has enough
qualified observations and a compatible identity. Acceptance freezes the
    reference used for later comparisons.
  • Automatically accept qualified reference is an opt-in setting. It is off
by default, is saved as AutoAcceptReference, applies without restarting,
and continues while the dashboard is closed. It never replaces an accepted
reference or migrates a legacy baseline.
  • Reference learning now explains whether it is waiting for steady observations,
waiting for a fitted voltage model, ready for acceptance, or already active.
“Reference pending” means that acceptance is still required; additional days
alone do not complete that step.
  • Existing configuration, accepted references, recordings, and the supported
native-reader boundary remain unchanged. This release does not change the
private native ABI or expand hardware support.

Validation

The local daemon self-test passed, including 26 authenticated application-update
checks, 40 behavioral checks, and reference-acceptance behavior. The GUI data
suite passed 129 checks, and the synthetic UI suite passed 19 checks. The
protected release workflow verifies the signed installer before publication.

The Windows installer uses the same project self-signed publisher model as 1.5.0;
Windows may show an unknown-publisher prompt. Follow the installation and
signature verification instructions

before running it.
