Repository navigation
GameVault 0.3.9 fixes an empty dashboard after collection recovery and Steam reconnection, and makes background sync easier to understand.
- Show games saved from the Settings window immediately, even after an unreadable startup save or a recovery reset. The game count updates and Explore demo disappears without requiring a restart.
- Resume normal services and saves after a valid collection is recovered. Invalid incoming saves leave the displayed collection intact.
- Keep older, delayed window refreshes from replacing newer saved changes. Preserve unfinished Settings fields and apply deferred dashboard updates after leaving a field or closing a dialog.
- Show artwork and achievement task progress, with a Stop button, above the library. A blocked sync button names the active task instead of suggesting recovery for an ordinary background refresh.
- Keep library navigation and normal edits available while a provider request waits. Starting another bulk sync waits for the current task to finish or stop.
- Make Stop pause the rest of the automatic genre and achievement refresh pass. Stopping the genre refresh does not immediately start an achievement refresh.
- Add browser tests for recovery, separate-window imports, delayed responses, failed saves, draft preservation, task visibility and Stop. Add actual Windows regression checks for startup recovery and collection notifications.
Your saved collection stays on this device. An in-flight provider request can finish before stopping; canceled results are ignored. SteamGridDB remains the only automatic game-cover provider, with custom images and Steam library sync supported. No removed cover settings or compatibility were reintroduced.
