First public release!
First release! All features are usable on Gamecube and PC releases.
For PC, files are preextracted and you can skip this section. For the Gamecube release, you'll need an extracted game. I recommend using Dolphin to do this so you can run the game in its extracted form. To do so, make sure first your gcm/iso is loaded in Dolphin's game list.
Step 0: If you need to add a game there, in Dolphin, go to Options->Configuration->Paths and hit Add..., then select the directory with your Billy game in it. Hit refresh and the game should load in the list. MAKE SURE 'SEARCH SUBFOLDERS' IS CHECKED (It's on the left side, but lower than the Add... button)
Step 1: Right click Billy in the list and hit properties. Within properties, hit the right arrow in the top right of the window under the X close button. Keep hitting it until the Filesystem tab is visible and enter that.
Step 2: In the Filesystem tab, right click the Disc and do "Extract Entire Disc...". Navigate back to where your original Billy game was, make a new folder next to it named 'BillyExtract' or whatever you want. Then select that folder for extraction.
Step 3: Wait! It'll take a moment, but you should soon see that new folder fill with all of the Billy files. At this stage, you must have the 'Search Subfolders' checkbox checked so that Dolphin will scan this folder for the extracted game (see end of step 0 if needed)
Step 4: Hit refresh and you should see a Billy Hatcher game that's Size '0.00B*'. with the filename being 'main.dol'. Now if you right click, hit Open Containing Folder, go up one folder, then go down into 'files', you'll find all of the game files!
Step 5: Open OverEasy and navigate to your the game file folder described last step. Select amem_boot.nrc and the mission list should populate! Double click a mission to load it! On subsequent launches, please open the mod.oeproj project file in the ModProject folder so OverEasy knows to look at your saved, modified files!
When you edit and save a file, the program will try to back it up to the backup folder and save the edited version to the new project folder. By default this will be the 'ModProject' subfolder. You can copy these into the main game folder when ready, though be sure you have backups just in case the program didn't do that!

Note: For all intents and purposes, GC and PC files for things that aren't sound are identical. The GC version puts them in .prd archives (OverEasy will handle these for you), but they are essentially the same. Advanced users can play with adding and removing things from .prds with Aqua Model Tool if desired. Handling these things will eventually be added to OverEasy as well, but should hopefully be more user friendly in time.
Edit: Adjusted to let GC's saving work properly
Edit 2: When editing on GC, remember that file changes may require a full game restart, due to how the game works. The game may crash otherwise.
