v1.1.1 Install fix

A small but important fix: installing from the .skill file was blocked because the skill's description had grown past the 1024-character limit when the trigger phrases and Spanish terms were added.

Fixed

• Trimmed the description from 1123 to 949 characters, so the .skill installs cleanly again. All the core triggers stay: the PM resume and CV phrases, the plain-language asks, the Spanish terms, the seniority range from APM to CPO, and the do-not-use clause.

Everything from v1.1.0 (the FAANG Recruiter and Head of Product QA agents, the sameness-trap guidance) is unchanged.

Install or update

Download pm-resume-builder.skill below, open Settings then Skills in Claude.ai, upload it, and say "help me build my PM resume". If you tried v1.1.0 and it would not install, this is the one to use.

Note: the v1.1.0 download has also been replaced with this fixed file.

v1.1.0 QA Review Agents

This release adds a real quality gate to the skill, plus guidance for the one failure mode a FAANG optimized resume is most prone to: looking like every other FAANG optimized resume.

New: two QA review agents (run before anything ships)

Every resume now goes through two strict review passes before export. Each is a persona Claude fully adopts, and each writes you a short, blunt report. Both review only what the resume actually says and what you told Claude, so they flag gaps as questions and never invent a fact to fill one.

• The FAANG Recruiter. Screens it in 6 to 8 seconds like a real tech recruiter: outcome bullets, metrics with a baseline, archetype match, ATS mechanics, keyword mirroring, no fabrication, and the sameness trap. Verdict is SCREEN or PASS, with the fixes that flip it.
• The Head of Product. Reads it as a career story: the throughline, whether scope grows over time, the strategy to execution to impact arc, and any gaps, date overlaps, or places where the summary promises what the experience does not back.

The recruiter makes sure it survives the screen. The Head of Product makes sure it tells a coherent, rising story. When two bullets come back nearly identical, or a story has a hole, the skill surfaces it to you instead of shipping it quietly.

New: the sameness trap and the homogenization note

• common-mistakes.md adds "the sameness trap": a hundred FAANG optimized resumes share one shape, and a screener who has read those hundred spots the template before a human does.
• ats-and-keywords.md adds "shape is shared, signal is not": keep the layout standard for ATS safety, and win on the content a pattern cannot match away, the company context line, metrics with a baseline, and the specific decision behind each win.
