- CQC with the left hand, first-person view during CQC, OctoCamo reset by shaking, Solid Eye night vision gesture.
- Action button in first person (wall press and context actions).

Known issues
- After a wall press via the action button the view can stay in third person (press A).
- Solid Eye labels do not stay attached to enemies.
- A Customize-mounted scope on the M4 can be invisible in first person with Two Eye Rendering.
- "WEAPON ACQUIRED" pop-up only in third person.
- Lens scope misaligned on the D.E. (L.B.) and the Rail Gun.
- No arm calibration step yet.
Notes
- Requires the Steam PC version (game build 25292043), DirectX 11, an OpenXR runtime and motion controllers. Tested on Quest 3.
- Player build: no diagnostic probes or measurement captures; only small per-session status files for bug reports.
MGS4-PCVR v0.1.1 — Stereo in the Home menu
v0.1.1
Adds Stereo On / Off to the Home menu and supports Steam game build 25292043.
- Switch between mono theater and stereo gameplay without restarting.
- The Home panel stays in theater; closing it restores the selected mode.
- Stereo uses headset tracking. Mono retains optional camera following.
- Recenter resets the screen and neutral head pose; distance controls theater placement.
- Stereo preference is saved in mgs4vr.ini. Mono remains the default.
Stereo uses alternating gameframes, not two views of the same simulation state. Menus/cutscenes use theater fallback when no valid eye pair exists. Motion controls remain planned; play with a gamepad.
Requires DirectX 11 and an active OpenXR headset.
MGS4-PCVR v0.1.0
v0.1.0

- Optional headset rotation controls the game camera; off by default.
- Recenter the screen and adjust its distance from 0.5 to 10.0 m.
- Saved distance and camera-follow preference.
Motion controls are planned for a future version.
Requires DirectX 11.
